General Questions
How will TourMeOnline.com help me save thousands?
Because TourMeOnline.com has many combinations of use. Here are a couple scenarios: 1) You can pay an agent after a buyer has been found to write up the agreements/contracts, negotiate offer, qualify the buyer, and coordinate closing while you market your own home. Most agents charge between $1000.00 to $2000.00 to complete this (don't be afraid to shop around for competitive rates). Click Here to find a REALTOR for your specific needs. 2) You can use the MLS and our marketing tools cohesively together to procure a sell faster. 3) Use our online listing for free and extra exposure. 4) Use our marketing system alone and keep all commissions. As you can see the combinations are endless. figure 1 shows a chart explaining what commission would be paid out if a traditional REALTOR was used to list your home, save your money you worked hard for it!

Is it necessary for me to hire an attorney in order to sell my own home?
In most states, a Title Company handles every aspect of the real estate transaction. This is probably the easiest way to settlement. However, most people hire a real-estate lawyer to protect their interests throughout any real estate transaction. A lawyer can act as an escrow agent for down payments, evaluate any complicated offers from potential buyers and handle closings. When selecting a lawyer, choose one that specializes in real estate transactions (don't be afraid to shop around for a competitive rate).
Error Message when trying to Activate, Submit or Edit your ad.
If you receive an error or processing error message during the submission of you new or edited ad, our system will still create your ad and assign it a unique ID. Or, in the case of editing your ad, your change is still applied to your existing ad ID. Try logging out of our website, then close your browser, and re-open a new browser window and log-in again. Also, your credit card will not be billed unless your ad is activated and viewable online.
However, if you received notice that your credit card was declined you must call your credit card company directly. MLS Question:
What is the (MLS) Multiple Listing Service and why would I want to use it?
The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a system that most REALTORS® use to market and sell property. The MLS is the traditional way agents/brokers find homes for their buyers or advertise homes for their sellers. Listing a home on the MLS uniformly notifies brokers and agents in your area that your home is for sale. Statistics show that homes listed on the MLS sell faster.
Will my listing appear on the Internet?
Yes! It will appear on a national real estate site as in REALTOR.com®, Homestore.com®, Move.com®, and many others at NO extra charge. You also get more exposure thru search engines like google.com, yahoo.com, aol.com, msn.com and many others.
Why would a real estate agent want to list my home if they're not going to receive a commission when it sells?
The flat fee is considered the commission. The reason our partners charge a low flat fee is mostly for exposure.
Is there any commission fee that will need to be paid out?
Commission fees involved with an MLS listing depend on the outcome of the sale of your home.
- If an agent sees your listing and brings you a buyer, you will have to pay a buyer's agent commission (approximately 2% to 3%), but only if you accept that offer.
- If you find a buyer yourself, you will not have to pay any commissions.
Who handles the showing and calls from potential buyers?
This is entirely up to you. The REALTOR assigned to you will enable you to stay in control of showings, buyer inquiries and all negotiations. However, if you feel that you don't have the time or it seems to time-consuming for you to handle all of your showings and calls, TourMeOnline.com has partnered with various brokers and agents in your area to assist you with the paperwork, showings and buyer inquiries (for an additional fee). If you would like more information on broker assisted realtionships Click Here.
How many photos are allowed to be listed on the MLS?
Most MLS listings allow 3 - 6 photo's and charge between $1 and $3 for each additional photo.
How many forms do I have to fill out to get my property listed on the MLS?
You will need to complete a standard "Listing Agreement" and in some cases (on a state per state basis) an Addendum stating that you have paid the listing agent a flat fee.
